Juanita Hamparsum
Non-Executive Director
Juanita has lived and worked within rural Australia for most of her life and has a keen interest in the natural environment and the utilisation of science and technology to innovate and improve the way we farm to produce food and fibre and, utilise our natural resources. In 2015, Juanita and her brother were awarded the Brownhill Cup for farm innovation, sustainability and profit.
Career History
Juanita started out as a graduate accountant with Ernst & Young in Sydney in the audit division before branching out into the commercial world and working with Goldman Sachs in London. Upon returning to Australia in 1998 Juanita focused on the family agribusiness in northern NSW and was actively involved in the development of water and natural resource policies nationally. She is the past Chair of the Great Artesian Basin Coordinating Committee and the Cotton Innovation Network, Deputy Chair of Namoi Catchment Management Authority and non-executive director of the Cotton Research & Development Corporation and Namoi Cotton Limited (ASX:NAM).

Current Appointments
Juanita is currently a non-executive director for Cotton Seed Distributors Limited, Green Climate Co Pty Ltd (GreenCollar), End Food Waste Australia Limited and Hamparsum Investments Pty Ltd which produces cotton, grains and oilseeds in northern NSW.
Education
Juanita obtained a Bachelor of Business from the University of Technology Sydney, is a member of the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Fellow of the Peter Cullen Trust.
